What are the responsibilities and job description for the Performance Marketing Manager position at TrovaTrip?
ROLE PURPOSE
This is a unique opportunity to build and scale paid media with a direct impact on the success of the business. Being data-driven, ambitious and curious will help lead to success within this role. You’ll be responsible for driving new customer growth on our existing paid digital channels and discovering new ones to unlock incremental growth across customer segments.
40% Strategy and Planning
- Own the end-to-end Paid Media strategy, budget planning, and execution.
- Collaborate with Sales and Brand Marketing teams to develop effective paid ad content.
- Assess channel contributions and make decisions about spend allocation.
- Identify paid channel testing roadmap for new growth avenues. Make upward recommendations
- Research and stay up-to-date on paid media trends and platform updates.
- Scale and optimize Trova’s affiliate program (recruit partners & identify partnership opportunities)
30% Execution and Optimization
- Day-to-day monitoring and pacing of all paid ad campaigns & affiliate program.
- Track and report on KPIs such as CAC, LTV, ROAS, etc.
- Execute a robust ad optimization plan, including A/B creative and audience tests.
- Partner with Engineering to leverage key user experience touch points.
30% Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to build and execute targeted campaigns.
- Provide clear direction for creative assets and copywriting.
- Partner day-to-day with the Content Marketing Manager to drive an aligned
- Marketing approach for TrovaTrip
KNOWLEDGE
- Strong experience within digital strategy for SEM (Google Ads), social media (Meta), and programmatic campaigns.
- Key knowledge of retargeting/re-marketing, display, and rich media/video advertising.
- Experience with CRM and CMS platforms such as Hubspot.
SKILLS
- Proven ability to execute paid media campaigns in-house and allocate budgets to maximize CPA.
- Data-driven, analytical, and able to provide consistent and accurate reporting.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure all campaigns are relevant, accurate, professional, and on time.
- Strategic and creative thinking when solving problems.
- Experience with building creative briefs and strong copywriting skills.
ABILITIES
- An experimental mindset is needed to try new strategies and techniques to meet company and department objectives.
- A self-starter who is proactive and dedicated to getting results.
- Experience working with a marketplace is a plus.
- Knowledge of pixel tracking as well as CDPs (Segment) and server data flow for audience building.
KEY DETAILS
- This position will report to the VP of Sales, who reports directly to our CEO.
- Ability to work at a desk for up to 8 hours.
- Other projects and responsibilities as assigned.
Salary : $85,000 - $95,000
