Our client is seeking a senior Environmental Lawyer to join their Environmental & Mass Tort team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of law, policy, finance, and innovation—particularly in renewable energy, infrastructure, and energy transition projects.
What You’ll Do:
- Advise on high-value projects involving project finance and M&A transactions
- Lead permitting and environmental reviews (NEPA, CEQA) for utility-scale developments
- Manage environmental risk in complex deals—drafting, diligence, and negotiation
- Collaborate with developers, lenders, and sponsors on project-critical permitting and compliance
- Engage with cutting-edge work in carbon markets, CCS, and ESG-driven strategies
What We’re Looking For:
✔ 8 years’ experience in environmental law (federal/state)
âś” Strong permitting, NEPA/CEQA, and remediation expertise
âś” Background in project finance and infrastructure transactions
âś” Experience reviewing environmental reports and land use/title impacts
âś” Bonus: Exposure to international projects or cross-border compliance
