We are seeking a Contingent Infusion Paramedic for our Rochester and Macomb Infusion Clinic. Travel is required between our two clinics based on schedule. Some of your responsibilities in this role will be:
· To assess patient health problems and needs
· To develop and implement nursing care plans and maintain electronic medical records
· To use strong patient assessment skills with experience in infusion
· Demonstrates knowledge of the preparation, administration, contraindications, and side effects of medications used
· To document all necessary patient information in the accurately, completely and in a timely manner
· Demonstrates excellent IV therapy skills
What are we looking for in a candidate?
· Current license in the State of Michigan
· Previous clinical or hospital experience, preferred
· Prior experience in outpatient infusion experience is preferred
· Current CPR and BLS certification required
Must be authorized to work in the US and consent to background check and drug screen
