Position Responsibilities :
- Answer IT Helpdesk phone calls and provide basic troubleshooting for computer problems.
- Direct callers to the online knowledge base and other resources for additional support.
- Assist callers in creating helpdesk accounts, submitting tickets, and utilizing support history tools.
- Submit, review, update, and close tickets for callers as needed.
- Direct callers to appropriate further assistance if the issue is not supported by IT Helpdesk.
- Rotate and log backup tapes as covered in training.
- Perform other additional duties as assigned.
