Day shift: Monday-Thursday 6:30 am to 5 pm, Friday overtime as required.
Pay: $16 to $18 an hour
The Shipping Associates processes and ships orders in a timely and efficient manner ensuring that all customer specifications are followed.
RESPONSIBILITY:
- Wrapping, packaging, and shipping: preparing boxes for shipping, and ensuring goods are packaged to minimize risk of damage.
- Label package with all vital packing and shipping information.
- Maintaining inventory: regularly conducting inventory, and keeping the warehouse area clean and clutter-free.
- Adhering to company regulations: following company regulations, and finding ways to optimize warehouse procedures.
- Delivering and retrieving supplies: delivering and retrieving supplies to and from work or storage areas.
- Record project information accurately in SAGE.
- Keep area and department clean and presentable at all times.
- Backup to load and unload trucks
- Notify the leader of any issues immediately.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 3-year prior experience in shipping/receiving.
- Forklift experience is a plus
- Ability to read blueprints and work instructions.
- Ability to read calipers and other measurement devices.
- Able to lift 50 pounds.
