What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Tutor position at Troy University?
The McNair Research Tutor position is responsible for providing support for high quality research and scholarly activities with the goal of increasing graduate school admission; maintaining academic progress files on all tutored participants; and other duties as assigned by the Project Coordinator.
Minimum Qualifications
1. Bachelor’s degree with a strong background in research/STEM
2. Minimum of one year of tutoring experience in area of research/STEM
3. Professional or personal experience in overcoming barriers similar to those confronting McNair-eligible students
4. Ability to effectively tutor participants and track academic progress as indicated on Academic Progress Plans
Preferred Qualifications
