Overview
The Billing Coordinator - Traffic Control plays a crucial role in managing the billing processes within our organization. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who can ensure accurate billing, maintain financial records, and provide exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will have experience in traffic control and a strong understanding of revenue cycle management.
Traffic Control Duties
Assist taking traffic control requests
Monitor delivery and pick up of equipment on jobs.
Assist with Traffic Control Reporting Software (TCR) job set up.
Print, TCR proof invoices vs estimates and contracts.
Review proofs for TCR manager approval.
Assured all jobs are billed at month end. Review completeness and accuracy of TCR billing.
Assist with getting time sheets turned in timely
Accounting Duties
- Oversee the billing cycle from invoicing to payment collection, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP standards.
- Manage accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding invoices to facilitate timely payments.
- Maintain detailed records of all transactions and communications with clients regarding their accounts.
- Collaborate with internal departments to resolve billing issues and improve overall efficiency in the billing process.
- Data entry into TCR Software, Quickbooks and Netsuite.
Skills - Education
- Proficiency in telemarketing techniques to effectively communicate with clients regarding their accounts.
- Strong customer service skills to address client inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
- Intermediate excel experience
- Experience in financial services, particularly in revenue cycle management.
- Ability to perform coding tasks accurately to ensure proper billing procedures are followed.
- Experience in Quickbooks, Netsuite and TCR software.
- Accounting degree or bookkeeping accounting experience preferred.
