Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for an Experienced Civil Litigation Paralegal at Trpanier Tajima LLP. We are looking for a paralegal with at least 10 years of Southern California litigation experience in both federal and state courts. Exemplary experience and education are preferred, including experience with larger law firms versed in complex litigation.
The paralegal will be responsible for legal document preparation, file management, assisting attorneys, tracking deadlines, document review, legal research, drafting pleadings and motions, and providing support for trial preparation. This role is based in Los Angeles, CA, with flexibility for some remote work.
The position will be hybrid in office and remote work.
Qualifications
- Legal Document Preparation, Document Review, and Legal Research skills
- Filing in state and federal courts
- Experience supporting multiple attorneys
- Experience in drafting pleadings and motions
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in legal software and research tools
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Experience in California civil litigation practices
- Paralegal certification or degree in Paralegal Studies is a plus
