TRS Craft Services has an immediate need for an experienced Equipment Field Service Technician based out of our client's Harrison, OH facility.
Summary of Position : Handling all aspects of inspecting, repairing, trouble shooting and performing service / maintenance both in the shop or in the field on service calls.
Equipment : The types of equipment to be worked on entails aerial lifts, forklifts, compressors, and generators, to name a few.
Travel : Travel would primarily be local to regional (working within an approximate 200-mile radius). Occasional overnight travel may be required as the workload dictates.
Responsibilities :
- Performs major, and in many cases non-routine service repairs to customers and company owned equipment in the shop and / or in the field to include customer and project sites.
- Completes necessary paperwork, including work orders, part orders, billing and / or warranty information, as applicable.
- Assists other technicians in advance troubleshooting and problem resolution as called upon.
- Frequent interaction / communication with customers concerning repairs and service needs.
- Maintains an orderly work area / service truck.
- Remains compliant with all applicable policies and procedures / standards.
- Adheres to and supports client's Health, Safety and Environmental policies.
- Meets expectations on attendance and punctuality.
- Plans, organizes, and carries out assignments as directed.
- All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications :
Schedule : Typically Mon-Fri 8AM - 5PM, however requires ability to work overtime / overnight travel as workload dictates.
Pay Rate : $25 per hour. Depending on experience, to be discussed with your Recruiter.
