TRS Craft Services is immediately seeking a Heavy Equipment Mechanic for project needs in Austin, TX.
Position Description :
To inspect, repair, trouble shoot, perform maintenance and assembly of heavy equipment at customer site.
Related Experience :
- 5 years of construction equipment repair
- Must have experience with heavy construction equipment to include but not limited to the following : crawler cranes, hydraulic cranes, loaders, dozers, backhoes, tele-handlers, aerial work platforms and down
- Physically able to squat, stoop, bend, climb, lie on back, lift and pull, reach up and out. Lift 70 lbs., carry 50 lbs.
- Ability to interpret service manuals & schematics
Requirements :
Shift : Days, currently working 6 : 00 am - 4 : 30 am on an alternating weekend schedule 50 hours a week.
Pay : $38 / hr
Per diem : Eligible for non-local candidates only. Paid at $85 per day worked.
Project length : 10-12 months
