The Checker will collaborate closely with engineers and designers, utilizing various software tools to facilitate thorough evaluations.
Responsibilities
- Review engineering drawings, models, and specifications for accuracy and completeness.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and project requirements.
- Identify discrepancies or errors in designs and communicate findings to relevant team members.
- Collaborate with design teams to implement necessary corrections or modifications.
- Maintain organized records of checked documents for future reference.
- Utilize software tools such as Sketchup, MicroStation, Civil 3D, SolidWorks, Revit, NavisWorks, and 2D animation programs for effective checking processes.
- Draft reports summarizing findings and recommendations for improvements.
Skills
- Proficiency in design software including Sketchup, MicroStation, Civil 3D, SolidWorks, Revit, NavisWorks, and 2D animation tools.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to spot inconsistencies in technical drawings.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with mechanical design principles is a plus.
- Problem-solving skills to address issues that arise during the checking process.

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
