We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Irrigation Technician to join our team. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing irrigation systems to ensure optimal water distribution for various landscapes. The Irrigation Technician will work closely with clients to meet their irrigation needs while promoting sustainable practices.
Duties
- Install and maintain irrigation systems, including drip, sprinkler, and underground systems.
- Conduct regular inspections of irrigation systems to identify issues and perform necessary repairs.
- Operate power tools and hand tools effectively for installation and maintenance tasks.
- Collaborate with landscape teams to design and build efficient irrigation layouts tailored to specific garden or lawn needs.
- Ensure proper water management practices are followed to promote healthy plant growth.
- Dig trenches for piping installation and repair as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and maintenance activities.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to irrigation systems and landscape maintenance.
- Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools safely and effectively.
- Experience in lawn care and gardening practices is preferred.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various weather conditions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all tasks performed.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor, including digging and lifting as required.
