What are the responsibilities and job description for the Technical Sales Leader position at TRS Group, Inc?
In our quest to leave this world better than we found it, TRS Group, Inc. (TRS), a Parsons owned company, is expanding our PFAS and AFFF Remediation business and is in search of a qualified Technical Sales leader to help identify new aqueous film forming foam (AFFF) cleanout and treatment of poly fluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) in water opportunities using the PerfluorAd™ technology invented by Martin Cornelsen, managing partner, Cornelsen Umwelttechnologie GmbH. TRS is the exclusive licensee of PerfluorAd for AFFF cleanout and rinsate treatment in North America.
In this role, you will leverage current relationships and source new project opportunities and clients who need solutions to clean out fixed and mobile fire suppression systems supporting the transition from AFFF to fluorine free firefighting foams (F3) and other alternatives. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated knowledge and experience with mobile and fixed fire suppression systems.
What you will do:
- Initiate, build, and leverage relationships with current clients to create new project opportunities.
- Source new project opportunities and clients.
- Manage process from initial lead generation to initial discussions, project concept and solutions development, contract negotiations, and finally to point of sale.
- Maintain positive relationship with clients from initial contact through project completion.
- Help solve problems or answer client questions during project execution.
- Maintain documentation of client information, sales records, contact-to-sale metrics and other reports as required.
- Maintain awareness of new and existing technologies and be able to communicate appropriate offerings and potential solutions to clients.
- May assist in sales and forecasting and planning.
To be successful in this role, you must:
- Have strong, practical experience with mobile and fixed fire suppression systems.
- Understand the technical complexities of projects and effectively communicate to clients.
- Have persuasive communication and negotiation skills.
- Be a self-started and work productively from a home office.
- Be self-motivated and driven.
- Have familiarity with Microsoft and Adobe projects including but not limited to SharePoint, PowerPoint, Excel, Work and Acrobat.
