Job Title: Senior Electrical Engineer (Power Distribution)
Location: Augusta, GA
Industry: industrial manufacturing, complex processing, metals
Pay: $140-160k depending on experience
Status of Hire: 4 month contract, could go longer
*this is a contract role supporting industrial plant commissioning*
Seeking a degreed Electrical Engineer with 8 years of experience with installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of high voltage power distribution systems for a complex processing industrial manufacturing plant (related experience in chemical, mining, metals, oil/gas, or similar plant preferred).
Additional emphasis on:
o Electrical reliability for industrial manufacturing applications
o Upgrades to existing equipment including preventative maintenance
o Solid understanding of NEC, NECA, NFPA, and 70E
o Experience having led teams of electrical and instrumentation technicians and external contractors through equipment installation, plant commissioning, and development of reliability and standardized preventative maintenance protocol, procedure
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology
8 years of industrial plant engineering experience (reliability, maintenance, high voltage power distribution systems)
Ability to multitask and stay organized on a live construction site
