Job Overview:
The Environmental Superintendent will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal environmental requirements for the company's location in Mooresboro, NC. This includes implementing water, air, and RCRA permitting scopes, managing NPDES industrial and storm water discharge permits, synthetic minor air permit, and various RCRA action documents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective environmental programs, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with State, Local and Federal regulations.
- Lead and coordinate environmental projects with external contractors and consultants.
- Maintain record keeping systems to meet compliance requirements of each of the regulatory programs referenced above.
Requirements:
A completed Associate's degree in Environmental Science or equivalent EHS specialty field such as chemistry, biology, industrial hygiene, etc. 2 years of experience serving as an EHS technician or project manager in an industrial manufacturing plant.
