The Role:
Assist in delivering package supplies for offshore wind projects. Monitor purchase orders, manufacturing progress, and ensure timely delivery. Frequent travel required.
Job Duties:
- Integrate Free Issue Equipment (FIE) within offshore packages.
- Lead expediting services.
- Monitor manufacturing progress.
- Report progress and verify conditions.
- Conduct field and desk expediting.
- Ensure safe loading, shipment, and discharge.
- Plan and report expediting visits.
- Control manufacturing status.
- Expedite purchase orders.
- Verify freight forwarders and transport companies.
- Manage communications with project forwarders.
- Support transport issues and attend inspections.
- Ensure proper equipment packaging and sea fastening.
- Interface with Marine Warranty Surveyors.
Skills, Knowledge & Experience:
- Master’s degree in engineering.
- Knowledge of maritime requirements.
- Experience in renewable energy or power infrastructures.
- Five years of relevant experience.
- Willingness to travel.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Offshore experience preferred.
