Junior Accountant

Job Title: Junior Accountant

Location: Mooresboro, NC

Pay: $70-80k plus bonus

A manufacturing company located in Mooresboro, NC is in need of a Junior Accountant with 2 years of experience with staff accounting responsibility in an industrial production environment.

Duties:

• Support month end and year end close process
• Prepare, verify, and post journal entries in accordance with GAAP Standards
• Balance and maintain accounting ledgers (G/L accounting)
• Fixed asset accounting
• Meet reporting deadlines
• Bookkeeping
• Account Analysis
• General ledger Inquiries
• Reconcile accounts to the ledger balance
• Generate and analyze accounting reports
• Performed monthly physical inventory count
• Assisting with annual internal and external audits

Requirements:

• Minimum Associates degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or similar
• 2 years of experience in a Staff Accounting role in an industrial manufacturing environment
• Experience with account analysis and reconciliation
• Must have proficiency with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel, ERP systems, and accounting software
