Quality Supervisor
We are seeking a Quality Supervisor to join our team at our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Ridgeville, SC.
Our client is a leading supplier of aluminum cast products to global automotive equipment manufacturers (OEM's).
The successful candidate will achieve quality targets for the plant by providing technical quality leadership and support to operational areas, suppliers, engineering and customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and troubleshoot die cast, machined and assembled parts.
- Lead product testing validation to established processes and procedures.
- Recommend, implement and approve new products/processes for quality.
- Deploy and maintain the Quality Foundation and required ISO quality standards within operations.
- Train factory employees in quality practices and techniques.
- Monitor work progress to ensure deadlines are met and quality standards are upheld.
- Develop and manage projects involving a team of employees working on specific tasks towards common goals.
- Review employee performance and make improvements as needed.
- Stop any line that may be producing suspect or defective material.
- Approve hourly employee timecards/time off.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years work experience in quality (foundry) supervising hourly team members.
- CNC machining and CMM/test equipment experience.
- Availability to work any shift.
