Project Controls / Scheduler – Kingsport, TN (per diem available for non-locals)
- Experience performing Industrial Projects (Chemical, Pulp & Paper, Heavy Industrial)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, P6 and Microsoft Project
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in Construction Scheduling, preferably for industrial projects
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Planning, Construction Management, or related field is preferred but job experience will be considered.
- Support and foster PMT (Project Management Team) personnel in the development of the project schedule at the execution phase.
- Ensure schedules are developed on the front end through integrated planning sessions with all necessary stakeholders to ensure the full SoW (Scope of Work).
- Develop the BoS (Basis of Schedule) and ensure alignment with the project execution plan and is signed off by all responsible stakeholders.
- Build progress plans, S-Curves, and histograms based on resource loaded baseline schedule and ensure the critical and near critical path is clearly defined.
- Conduct time impact, productivity impact, quantity growth, out of sequence impact, concurrent delay, and other analyses to support commercial changes or claims support.
- Critical Path Analyses and Schedule Risk analyses.
- Advanced Work Package Planning preferred
- Ability to develop and manage the conversion of area / unit schedule to systems-based schedule.
- Effectively communicate with all internal and external stakeholders regarding all schedule / progress related matters and concerns
