What to Expect (Job Responsibilities) :

Determine and recommend effective user-centered research approaches to guide business areas

Synthesize quantitative and qualitative data to inform product and design decisions

Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the agile software development process

Create detailed written reports of insights and observations

Assist in developing user journeys and personas

What is Required (Qualifications) :

Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field such as Cognitive Psychology or Human-Computer Interaction

2 years of experience conducting UX research

Proficiency in applying various research methods, including usability studies and surveys

Strong understanding of the strengths and shortcomings of different research methods

Excellent verbal / written communication and interpersonal skills

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications) :

Experience with contextual inquiry and advanced usability testing techniques

Familiarity with agile methodologies in a product development environment

Knowledge of user advocacy and evidence-based product development approaches

Additional certifications or training in UX research methodologies
