The Role:
As a Houseperson, you’re the extra set of hands that keeps our hotel and housekeeping department running smoothly. This is a part-time position with a shift available on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 5PM - 9PM.
What You'll Do:
- Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of all public spaces within the hotel, from the lobby to the hallways.
- Assist the housekeeping and front desk teams by delivering supplies, linens, and amenities to guest rooms.
- Support the housekeeping team in ensuring that rooms are ready for guest arrivals.
- Collaborate with housekeepers to coordinate the timely turnover of guest rooms.
- Help with the removal of trash and used linens, ensuring proper disposal.
- Respond promptly to guest requests for additional items or assistance.
- Maintain an organized inventory of housekeeping supplies.
Your Skills and Style:
- Your attention to detail ensures that supplies are delivered accurately and on time.
- A proactive attitude is your signature – you anticipate the needs of the housekeeping team and our guests.
- Previous experience in a similar role in a hotel setting is a plus but not required.
- Strong communication skills are essential for coordinating with various departments.
- You're physically fit and capable of lifting and moving supplies and equipment.
- Your schedule flexibility means you're open to weekends and holidays.
