Executive Housekeeper
Manage the day-to-day and long-term operations of the housekeeping department. Provide supervision, coaching, counseling and training to room attendants and house attendants. Ensure the prompt return of clean rooms to reception for resale to incoming guests. Inspect guest rooms and public areas for compliance with established cleanliness, maintenance, and set-up standards. Source and vendors and ensure proper inventory of guest room supplies, including linens, in-room amenities, cleaning supplies, etc.
Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities: (Other duties may be assigned)
· Manage daily operations of the Housekeeping department.
· Responsible for meeting budget goals of the department.
· Manage selection, training, and development of employees
· Scheduling of all housekeeping department employees.
· Have working knowledge of cleaning products and materials in accordance with OSHA regulations
· Monitor consumption and ordering replacement of guest and cleaning supplies.
· Can interact verbally and effectively with all hotel guests and employees in a positive manner.
· Create a high morale in department and minimize turnover
· Inspect guest rooms and public spaces to ensure compliance with cleanliness, maintenance and set-up standards, as well as to verify status
Required Position Skills
· Any combination of education, training or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
· Prior hospitality or teaching/training experience desired.
· Ability to speak/read basic English
· Team Leader
· Detail Oriented
· Experience managing a staff

· Strong interpersonal skills and ability to develop personal relationships in a professional manner
· Desire and ability to work within a diverse staff
· Ability to work well under limited supervision at times
· Due to cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, employee may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the hotel. In addition, attendance at all scheduled training sessions and meetings is required.
Must be available to work varied shifts and flexible schedules
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
