Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Executive Housekeeper to oversee the housekeeping operations at our hotel. The Executive Housekeeper will be responsible for maintaining a clean and comfortable environment for our guests and ensuring that all housekeeping staff adhere to high standards of cleanliness and professionalism. This is a full-time position in the hospitality industry.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise the housekeeping staff, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations
- Develop and implement cleaning procedures and protocols to maintain a high level of cleanliness throughout the hotel
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure efficient guest services and smooth operations
- Oversee inventory management of cleaning supplies and equipment
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas to ensure cleanliness and compliance with hotel standards
- Address guest concerns or complaints regarding housekeeping services promptly and effectively
- Collaborate with maintenance staff to address any repairs or maintenance needs in guest rooms or public areas
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in all housekeeping activities
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in housekeeping management
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in housekeeping management, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting
- Strong knowledge of custodial practices, floor care techniques, and industrial cleaning methods
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to lead and motivate a team of housekeeping staff
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
