Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the housekeeping department, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and to high standards.
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures for all areas of the facility.
- Train, supervise, and evaluate housekeeping staff, providing guidance to ensure adherence to cleanliness protocols.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels while adhering to budgetary constraints.
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate cleaning schedules around events and guest needs.
- Address any guest concerns or complaints regarding cleanliness promptly and professionally.
- Stay informed about industry trends in hospitality and housekeeping management to continuously improve service quality.
Experience
- Proven experience in hotel or custodial management roles, with a strong background in industrial cleaning practices.
- Extensive knowledge of housekeeping management principles, including floor care techniques and sanitation standards.
- Previous experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality industry is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with an ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
