Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Laundry Attendant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our hotel's laundry facilities. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cleanliness, a strong work ethic, and excellent customer service skills.
Responsibilities:
- Wash, dry, and iron laundry items according to hotel standards
- Maintain a clean and organized laundry area, including sorting and folding clothes
- Operate laundry equipment, including washing machines and dryers
- Perform dry cleaning tasks as needed
- Handle and process guest laundry, ensuring prompt turnaround
- Monitor and report any issues or malfunctions with laundry equipment
- Assist with other hotel amenities as needed
Skills:
- Proficiency in laundry processes, including washing, drying, and ironing
- Experience working in a hotel or hospitality environment
- Ability to lift and carry laundry equipment and bags
- Knowledge of dry cleaning procedures and processes
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing for long periods and lifting heavy objects
