Maintenance Worker

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance tasks for Guests
• Ensure Guest Requests are responded to within 10 minutes and Front Desk is relayed the status within 30
• Complete work orders as assigned and relay resolution and time to complete to Manager
• Basic electrical and plumbing repairs such as changing out lights or toilet work and clogged drains
• Indoor, outdoor painting
• Use of hand tools/power tools
• Carpet cleaning with machine
• Pressure washing
• Put the needs of the customer first while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Acknowledge every employee and guest you come into contact with.
• Assist in the unloading of deliveries and the proper storage of such.
• Report any shortage of parts or concerns with equipment to Manager.
• Maintain an organized and clean work area and leave work locations “guest ready”
• Assist with storm and severe weather preparation and with returning the operation back to normal after such events
• Knows all safety and emergency procedures including the practice of safe working conditions.
• Work closely with all departments and vendors of the hotel at all times to ensure effective communication.
• Other duties and tasks as requested by direct supervisor, MOD or senior management.
• Be familiar with and adhere to the policies and procedures of the employee handbook.

Qualifications:

-previous maintenance/hotel experience helpful

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent organizational Skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills to interact with colleagues and Guest

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
