Assistant Housekeeping Supervisor

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor Assistant to lead our housekeeping team in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and organization within our facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial cleaning, custodial services, and hospitality management. This role is essential in ensuring that all areas are clean, safe, and welcoming for guests and staff alike.

Duties

• Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping operations, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate housekeeping staff on proper cleaning techniques and safety protocols.
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure cleanliness and adherence to company standards.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary to maintain adequate stock levels.
• Develop and implement housekeeping procedures that enhance productivity while ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Address guest inquiries or concerns regarding housekeeping services promptly and professionally.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations within the hotel or facility.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in housekeeping management or a supervisory role within the hospitality industry.
• Strong knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques, custodial responsibilities, floor care, and overall housekeeping practices.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
