As Front Office Manager, you will be continuing our effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Overseeing 5 front desk agents, you will provide the training to ensure that the outstanding guest service and financial profitability is obtained.
Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Greet guests as you see them, speak politely and assisting guests as needed.
- Demonstrate a solid knowledge of hotel information and guests questions including, but not limited to, room types, room rates, packages, promotions, the local area and other Hilton Elite knowledge.
- Must have a minimum of 2 years PEP- PMS experience.
- Input and retrieve information from the computer including but not limited to; confirmation of guest information, room rate, selection of rooms, coding electronic keys, and invoicing/billing of room rates and additional charges, processing debit and credit cards, accepting various forms of payment, processing gift certificates and cards.
- Assist guests with check out and check in including, but not limited to, answering phones, ensuring rooms are serviced, correctly accounted and ready for the next guest to check in.
- Operate a cash register and maintain an accurate and organized drawer.
- Respond to guest inquiries and requests, resolving issues in a timely, friendly and speedy manner.
- Resolve guest complaints, conduct research and negotiate for guest satisfaction as needed.
- Perform nightly backup of server.
- Perform nightly balancing of incidentals.
- Perform express checkout folios.
- Perform room key inventory.
- Communicate all shift information to management & front desk staff.
- Maintain a safe facility, to remain accident free.
- Conduct and maintain inventory of hotel market items.
- Supervisory duties include composing the schedule for front desk staff members, Responding to Guest Service Surveys, providing technical support to front desk team, managing overall performance of the market and other duties assigned by management.
