Responsibilities
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of facilities to ensure optimal performance.
- Perform electrical repairs and maintenance, including troubleshooting logic controllers.
- Fabricate and weld components as needed to support facility operations.
- Utilize tools such as an Ohmmeter to diagnose electrical issues and ensure safety standards are met.
- Read and interpret schematics to assist in repairs and installations.
- Supervise and guide junior maintenance staff during projects and repairs.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and report on equipment status.
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance schedules and minimize downtime.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise others effectively.
- Proficiency in electrical systems, including knowledge of logic controllers.
- Ability to weld and fabricate components as required for repairs.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Familiarity with using an Ohmmeter and reading schematics for troubleshooting purposes.
- Strong problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
