What are the responsibilities and job description for the Property Maintenance position at Tru by Hilton?
Property Maintenance is responsible for cleaning and maintaining designated areas of the hotel, conducting regular preventative maintenance, and responding to guest maintenance/service requests in a continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.
Expected Duties:
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks as required by the brand (in-room, public spaces,
facilities and equipment, etc.)
- Report maintenance issues and repair needs to management
- Repair issues that may occur on property including but not limited to, replace lightbulbs,
repaint doors and door frames, plumbing repairs (such as toilet and sink parts), replace lock
batteries, reprogram locks
- Change air filters throughout the hotel on a monthly basis
- Perform PTAC, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other maintenance throughout the hotel as
needed
- Stock and maintain supply rooms; ensure there is an appropriate inventory of repair items
such as toilet handles, flush valves, light bulbs, paint, tools, filters, etc.
- Work with housekeeping and front desk to ensure guest requests are attended
- Work with corporate maintenance to ensure the safety, efficiency, and compliance of the
hotel from a maintenance standpoint
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $10.00 - $14.00 per hour
