Sales Coordinator Job Description
The Sales Coordinator serves as a resource to the Customer Success Managers (CSMs) and Sales Manager, assisting in the completion of all responsibilities for his/her respective CSMs while adhering to the mission statement of the division and the company. Sales Coordinators continuously help solve dealer issues, clarify and complete sales orders, and organize commitments and deadlines.
Roles and Responsibilities
· Retailer Relationships – Responsible for helping with respective accounts of CSMs. Working with CSMs on sales, inventory, inventory turns, shipment accounts receivable and parts. This is an administrative position for developing high-quality relationships with respective retailers.
· Quality Planning, Control, and Improvement – Planning:(in house) As requested: responsible for writing or completing orders that match customer requirements, are clear and precise for production personnel, available to answer retailer questions, aids in working with retailers to maximize sales tools necessary, and develops credibility and respect of zone accounts. Control: (in house) As requested confirms sales order matches customer request, monitors shipments, checks pricing, documents and issues sales change orders, and tracks deadlines required. Improvement: (in house) As requested aids the entire team in customer satisfaction.
· Sales Productivity – Aids in the organization of all sales responsibilities (mainly clerical) to maximize clarity, efficiency, and productivity within the constraints of the approved product offering while meeting established dealer and territory sales goals. This will include meeting promised customer deadlines, flooring requirements, run releases, product change requests/orders, manufacturing floor information in accuracy and completeness, shipping schedules, and accounts receivable.
· Integrity, Citizenship, and Ethics – Strives to make the facility a good member of the community. Uses the highest level of personal integrity and business ethics. Faithfully executes all applicable regulations of local, state and federal authorities.
Required Skills and Abilities
· Must be able to communicate efficiently and clearly with company personnel, distributers, retailers, customers, and state / local authorities as well as other third-party personnel. Such communication includes the ability to read and understand specifications and graphics.
· Must be able to walk, climb, lift loads of at least 20 lbs., and perform other such physical duties as may be necessary to inspect all areas of division facilities or customer work locations.
· Must be able to travel to retailer business sites and to corporate and trade association meetings.
· Must be able to operate and be insured to operate a personal automobile and use regularly available commercial transportation as appropriate.
· Experience working with sales, computer order entry, and manufactured housing strongly preferred
· Must have a high level of computer literacy
Required Experience and Education
· Minimum 2 years’ experience in an administrative position
· High school diploma required
