Job Summary
We seek dedicated and skilled Concrete Laborer(s) and/or Finisher(s) to join our concrete construction team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in various aspects of concrete work, including but not limited to forming, pouring, and finishing. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and working collaboratively in a team environment. The Concrete Laborer and/or Finisher will play a crucial role in ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.
Requirements
- Ability to properly lift, carry, push, rake, shovel, and move materials, supplies, tools, and wall forms weighing up to 50 pounds frequently and occasionally more than 100 pounds throughout the day.
- Physical agility to stand, walk, climb ladders and/or formwork, kneel, crouch, twist, and reach constantly.
- Ability to travel to work sites as needed.
- Willingness to work in various (sometimes extreme) climate conditions.
- Assist with installing formwork and pouring concrete for various construction projects.
- Set up and dismantle concrete forms according to specifications.
- Operate a variety of specialist equipment including but not limited to molds, rakes, trowels, floats, screeds, vibrators, handheld tools, sprayers, and power tools.
- Prep work sites by clearing obstacles and hazards. Dig, spread, and level dirt and gravel.
- Monitor the effect heat, wind, and cold have on curing concrete to ensure high-quality results.
- Supply tools and materials to different areas of the work site as directed by the Foreman.
- Clean tools, equipment, materials, and work site daily.
- Strong communication skills in English.
Experience
- Previous experience in concrete forming and finishing is preferred.
- Familiarity with concrete labor is a plus.
- Skills in pouring and finishing concrete.
- Proficient in using hand tools relevant to the concrete construction industry.
- Ability to work effectively in a physically demanding role that requires lifting, pushing, and pulling materials.
Experience preferred, not required. Will provide hands-on training.

Pay: $22.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
