📢 Now Hiring: Experienced Medical Biller – Podiatry Clinic (Kingwood, TX)
Location: Kingwood, TX
Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Employment Type: Full-Time, On-Site
We are looking for a Medical Biller to join a busy Podiatry Clinic in the Kingwood area. The ideal candidate will have strong billing experience in PODIATRY/or ORTHO, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to handle a full range of billing responsibilities.
Experience in Podiatry or Orthopedics is HIGHLY preferred but not required.
🔎 Key Responsibilities:
- Follow up on claims, including status checks, appeals, and redeterminations
- Post insurance and patient payments accurately
- Verify patient benefits and eligibility
- Handle collections and send out patient statements
- Provide clear explanations of patient balances
- Perform additional billing-related duties as needed
- Coding is not required (handled by the physician)
✅ Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of medical billing experience required
- Strong understanding of the complete medical billing cycle
- Podiatry or Orthopedic billing experience preferred
- NextGen EMR experience preferred but not required
- Excellent communication and follow-up skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
