Position Overview: The Quality Incoming Inspector will play a key role in ensuring that incoming materials meet the required standards and specifications. Reporting to the Quality Control Supervisor, this position involves inspecting, testing, and validating materials received at both our Mount Prospect and Glenview warehouse locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect and evaluate purchased parts and materials upon receipt, identifying defects, approving or rejecting items, and testing material composition.
- Ensure all incoming materials conform to product specifications and report findings to Quality Management.
- Conduct incoming material audits to verify that products and materials meet or exceed internal and external customer specifications.
- Validate the quality of purchased raw materials based on established acceptance criteria.
- Speaks English and Spanish.✅
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in incoming material inspection.
- Familiarity with GMP, ISO, and related quality guidance documents.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills, capable of interacting with employees at all levels.
- Proficient in computer skills, including ERP systems, Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat.
