About the Role: We are looking for a meticulous and proactive Commercial Insurance Customer Service Representative (CSR) with experience in Applied Epic to become part of our team. The perfect candidate possesses a deep understanding of commercial insurance products and can efficiently manage client relationships while providing outstanding service.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the main contact for commercial insurance clients, addressing their inquiries and providing support regarding policy coverage, claims, and billing.
  • Manage client accounts through Applied Epic, process policy changes, and maintain accurate records.
  • Help prepare and submit insurance applications, renewals, and endorsements.
  • Work with underwriters and other insurance professionals to process policies and claims.
  • Stay updated on insurance products, industry trends, and regulatory requirements to provide knowledgeable assistance to clients.
  • Address and resolve client issues and concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring high customer satisfaction.
  • Follow up with clients to ensure their needs are met and identify opportunities for additional services or coverage.
  • Train and mentor new team members on using Applied Epic and best practices in customer service.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred.
  • At least 2 years of experience in commercial insurance customer service or related role.
  • Proficient in Applied Epic and other insurance software applications.
  • Strong understanding of commercial insurance products, coverage options, and claims processes.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, focusing on exceptional customer service.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail; capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Insurance license preferred (or willingness to obtain).
