Overview:
We are seeking compassionate individuals to join our team as Home Health Aides. As a Home Health Aide, you will play a crucial role in providing essential care and support to patients in their homes.
Duties:
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Provide companionship and emotional support to patients
- Administer medication under the direction of healthcare professionals
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks
- Prepare meals and ensure dietary needs are met
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team
- Provide specialized care such as dementia care, memory care, catheter care, hospice care, and long-term care
- Support patients with mobility issues
Experience:
- Previous experience in home care or a related field is preferred
- Knowledge of patient care practices and procedures
- Experience working with seniors is a plus
- Familiarity with hospice care protocols is beneficial
- Ability to provide compassionate and attentive care to patients
