Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will work under the supervision of licensed physical therapists to help patients recover from injuries, improve mobility, and enhance their overall physical function. You will be involved in various settings including skilled nursing facilities, clinics, inpatient care, and home health environments. Your expertise in anatomy and physiology will be essential in providing effective treatment to diverse patient populations, including geriatrics and pediatrics.
Duties
- Assist physical therapists in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for patients.
- Conduct therapeutic exercises and modalities as directed by the supervising therapist.
- Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising therapist.
- Educate patients and their families on exercises and techniques to promote recovery.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with medical standards.
- Ensure a safe and clean working environment by adhering to infection control protocols.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
Requirements
- Knowledge of physiology and anatomy is essential for effective patient care.
- Experience in a skilled nursing facility, clinic, inpatient setting, or home health is preferred.
- Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to physical therapy practices.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and team members.

Job Types: Part-time, PRN
Pay: $60.00 - $70.00 per hour
