Trucent Bioprocess Solutions is an ethanol industry leader in corn oil recovery and separation. The Sales Director will play an integral part in the group's success, managing the entire sales cycle for BPS's product portfolio - a highly acclaimed line of separation equipment and processes. The successful incumbent will advance product offerings from the conceptual / proof of principle stage through commercialization while driving sales revenue to achieve profitability goals. This individual will also act as the conduit between Trucent and the biofuels industry, regularly assessing and communicating industry needs and challenges to the BPS team and chiefly representing Trucent as a leading voice in the corn ethanol industry, bioprocess industry, oils / fats industry, and rendering industry.

Responsibilities will include :
- Manage a team of sales professionals to help set goals, objectives, and close new and existing sales.
- Manage full cycle sales and help promote the use of CRM to help organize leads and establish accurate timelines.
- Directly sell our products and services to new and existing customers.
- Perform customer needs analysis, and working with our technical team, develop solutions and new product offerings to meet these needs.
- Represent the company at customer visits and industry trade show events.
- Identify customers, make contact, educate customer on the benefits of our products and services (presentation), overcome objections, relate to customer's needs, show how our product meets those needs, apply proper technology to the application, relate data to customer's needs, generate proposal, present proposal, close the deal.
- Communicate with and facilitate communications between Trucent and customers across multiple levels of both organizations.
- Contribute to the development of an annual sales plan and sales strategy for new and existing market penetration to ensure sales and profitability goals are achieved.
- Build and maintain customer relationships to ensure maximum customer retention.
- Work with R&D and Product Development teams to shape offerings into commercial ready products
- Communicate & coordinate efforts with Lab, Engineering Services, Operations and Administration.
- Comply with all aspects of the Trucent safety program, including but not limited to : hazard communication, PPE requirements and attending quarterly safety training.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and business ethics.
