Position Overview:

In the Administrative Assistant role, you will be responsible for answering customer queries, dealing with complaints, and providing potential customers with detailed information about our products. 

A successful candidate in this role should have a friendly and professional demeanor, good communication skills, and the ability to stay calm under pressure. This role handles a range of customer inquiries, addresses service-related concerns, and documents customer requests. This role includes both inbound and outbound calls, as well as call transfers for service-related actions.

  • None

Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Meets new business production goals and objectives as established;
  • Maintains knowledge of all product;
  • Ensures positive client relationships;
  • Possesses a genuine willingness to learn, be intuitive and resourceful and be coachable;
  • Possesses an upbeat, positive and enthusiastic attitude;
  • Works well with other employees and is a team player with a positive attitude;
  • Verifies phone numbers, addresses and email addresses and updates customer information;
  • Answer incoming phone calls on the first ring;
  • Return all phone messages promptly;
  • Develops and maintains client relationships;
  • Helps maintain online databases;
  • Works independently on projects often;
  • Assesses and identifies the wants and needs of customer(s) over the phone;
  • Participates in regular team meetings and brainstorming sessions;
  • Attends training and continuing education courses;
  • Other duties may be assigned as need by management.
Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software;
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail;
  • Ability to work independently;
  • Strong mathematical skills;
  • An upbeat, positive, and enthusiastic attitude.
  • Coachable self-starter with a sense of urgency.
  • Has the ability to answer questions efficiently and effectively.

Education and Experience:
  • Associates Degree or Higher Preferred;
  • Experience with Outlook, online data platforms, Word, Powerpoint and Adobe required.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone, and keyboard;
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer work;
  • Light to moderate lifting may be required;
  • Regular, predictable attendance is required; including quarter-driven hours as business demands dictate;
  • Moderate noise (i.e., business office with computers, phone, and printers, light traffic);
  • Ability to work in a confined area;
  • Ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period.

Salary Range: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
