Responsibilities:
- Shipping & Receiving Coordination: Manage all inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring that products are shipped on time and arrive safely
- Load Scheduling: Plan and schedule truck loads in alignment with production timelines and customer delivery requirements
- Customer Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for customers regarding shipment statuses, tracking updates, and any potential delays
- End-of-Line Support: Monitor production line needs and coordinate the movement of parts, addressing any shortages to keep operations on schedule
- Inventory & Documentation: Track and maintain records of shipments, inventory levels, and logistics documentation using Microsoft Office and any necessary software tools
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement logistics and warehouse process improvements to optimize efficiency and cost-effectiveness
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in logistics or supply chain roles, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), with the ability to quickly learn industry-specific software and tools
- Organizational Skills: Strong ability to prioritize, multi-task, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a customer-oriented approach
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and handle packages of varying weights as needed, as well as prolonged periods of standing or walking on the production floor
