Lead Logistics Coordinator

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Lead Logistics Coordinator to oversee our factory’s shipping, receiving, and logistics operations. This role is essential for ensuring timely and efficient movement of materials and products, maintaining high customer satisfaction, and supporting our production and end-of-line teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external partners.

Responsibilities:

• Shipping & Receiving Coordination: Manage all inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring that products are shipped on time and arrive safely
• Load Scheduling: Plan and schedule truck loads in alignment with production timelines and customer delivery requirements
• Customer Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for customers regarding shipment statuses, tracking updates, and any potential delays
• End-of-Line Support: Monitor production line needs and coordinate the movement of parts, addressing any shortages to keep operations on schedule
• Inventory & Documentation: Track and maintain records of shipments, inventory levels, and logistics documentation using Microsoft Office and any necessary software tools
• Process Improvement: Identify and implement logistics and warehouse process improvements to optimize efficiency and cost-effectiveness
  
  

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in logistics or supply chain roles, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment
• Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), with the ability to quickly learn industry-specific software and tools
• Organizational Skills: Strong ability to prioritize, multi-task, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a customer-oriented approach
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and handle packages of varying weights as needed, as well as prolonged periods of standing or walking on the production floor
