This is a hands-on role where you’ll play a key part in keeping our shop running smoothly while gaining valuable experience in a heavy-dutytruck body shop.

Job Description
Are you looking for an entry-level opportunity that can jumpstart a stable and rewarding career? Truck Centers, Inc. – South Bend is looking for a Body Shop Porter to join our Collision Center team! This is a hands-on role where you’ll play a key part in keeping our shop running smoothly while gaining valuable experience in a heavy-dutytruck body shop.

- This position will work Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm.
- Keep the shop and campus clean, organized, and safe
- Assist body shop technicians to help complete repairs efficiently
- Wash and detail trucks after repairs, as well as new and used trucks as needed
- Pick up and deliver parts from suppliers and trucks between our locations
- Sort and properly dispose of recyclables, scrap metal, and waste
- Perform other tasks and projects as assigned
What We're Looking For:
- Valid Driver’s License (CDL preferred or ability to obtain one within 90 days is required)
- Experience operating cleaning equipment and basic hand tools
- Knowledge of shop safety policies
- Fork truck certification and/or heavy equipment operation experience is a plus
- Detail-oriented, dependable, and willing to help wherever needed
- Must be willingto participate in a pre-employment background check, physical, and drug screen.
