Job Description
Truck Centers, Inc. is looking for a motivated and customer-focused Outside Parts Sales Representative (OPS) to join our team in Troy! In this role, you'll be building strong relationships with customers, growing new business opportunities, and serving as a key partner for commercial vehicle and equipment parts needs. If you enjoy connecting with people, finding solutions, and driving results, this could be a great fit for you.
Schedule:
This is a Monday–Friday role, but some nights and weekend hours may be needed to support customer needs.
What You'll Do:
- Develop new business by identifying leads and building strong relationships with prospective customers.
- Maintain and grow existing accounts to hit or exceed sales goals.
- Use your knowledge of vehicle parts and inventory systems to provide timely and accurate solutions for key customers.
- Look up parts, access technical info, and track down inventory—whether it’s on-site or across the TCI network.
- Partner with vendors to organize product demos for customers.
- Handle warranty and return paperwork for your accounts.
- Tackle customer concerns with a positive, solution-focused mindset to keep satisfaction and repeat business high.
- Recommend new product lines or items that align with customers’ needs.
- Review account activity and pricing profiles regularly to find new ways TCI can serve your customers better.
- Stay in close contact with your accounts, including regular on-site visits, to ensure they’re getting the top-tier service we’re known for.

Qualifications
What We're Looking For:
- Valid Driver's License and ability to meet insurance requirements
- 5 years of parts sales experience; heavy-duty truck parts experience is highly preferred
- Demonstrated customer service experience
- Thorough knowledge of basic computer operations and MS Office Suite proficiency
- Strong organizational and time management skills that reflect the ability to perform and prioritize multiple projects seamlessly with excellent attention to detail and a solution-focused outlook
- Must participate in a pre-employment background check, physical, and drug screen.

Pay Structure: This position is commission based. Typically we will offer a guaranteed salary for a set amount of time until customer base is established at which point, you will switch to a commission-based pay structure.
