DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
Perform preparation work prior to painting such as grinding, sanding, buffing and mask-off areas not to be paintedFill cavities and dents as necessary and surfaces repaired area to attain required finishCleans and prepares surface of articles to be painted using solvent, sandpaper and wire brushSelects and mixes paint to produce desired color and finish according to specificationsApplies paint to prepared surfaces adjusting sprayer valves and nozzle to regulate width and pressure of spray according to knowledge of painting techniques up to show-car levels as requiredCleans spraying equipment thoroughly with solventMoves painted articles from preparation area to and from paint boothFinish surfaces by polishing with sandpaper, compound, wax or other materialsMaintain clean and safe work environmentMaintains cleanliness of spray boothPositions articles in jigs or erects ladders or scaffoldingOther duties as assigned.QUALIFICATIONS :
