Working environment:
You will be required to work outside; working in different weather conditions. Example: rain, snow, cold, or hot temperatures. You may be required to work in the warehouse as well.

We are a national dealer for FASSI Cranes, Erkin Cranes and Loadmac Forklifts. We are seeking a motivated, qualified candidate for the position of Outside Forklift Operator to assist with our loading and unloading of trucks.

Forklift material handling:
You must be able to:
- Run freight to designated area; using sound judgment; be able to stack it according to supervisor’s requirements.
- Recoup any broken bundles and band them using tools and proper safety gear.
- Load or unload trucks with a forklift in a reasonable time period.
- Keep working area clean by picking up all trash, banding, and debris.
- Damage and loss control
- Housekeeping and securing of facilities
- Must be able to operate 6,000-10,000 lb. CombiLift forklifts. With several years of experience in material handling; knowing the capacity as well as the limitations of the forklift you are driving.
- Must have basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills to be able to record information from material received onto tally sheet or loading manifest. Must be able to load trucks from a work order generated from the office, as well as identify material unloaded from the vessel with the help of the discharge report.
- Must have flexibility with job assignments. Because of the nature of the business you may find yourself doing different assignments from day to day.
