- Assist Truck-Lite US with oversight of the daily routing of small parcels, truckload and less than truckload, cross-border and ocean shipments.
- Track and trace shipments across all modes of transportation.
- Process claims across all modes, ensuring timely resolution and adherence to company policies.
- Process expedite requests and manages tracking and approval process.
- Conduct analysis and compile statistics to support logistics decision-making.
- Provide regular exception reporting to highlight and address logistics issues.
- Update less than truckload carrier assignments and create new carriers within JDE and BOSS systems.
- Assist in managing truckload and less than truckload carrier relationships, ensuring adherence to SOPs, KPI monitoring, and conducting customer business reviews.
- Assist in optimizing delivery routes to reduce transportation time and costs.
- Process daily customs clearance requests and/or work with a trade compliance team as needed.
- Assist in the maintenance of accurate records for all import/export transactions and related documentation.
- General ledge coding weekly freight charges for accounting remittances.
- Position requires compliance with the Technology Control Plan and the Federal Export Control Policy established for the Corporation.
REQUIREMENTS
- 4-year degree preferred but not required.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in logistics related fields (less than truckload and ocean experience a plus).
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Willingness to be available outside of normal work hours.
