Responsibilities
- Install truck accessories such as lift kits, bed liners, hitches, and other aftermarket products.
- Perform electrical installations and troubleshoot electrical systems related to truck accessories.
- Operate heavy equipment safely during the installation process.
- Conduct brake repairs and maintenance on trucks as required.
- Utilize welding techniques to fabricate custom parts or modify existing components for optimal fit.
- Inspect completed installations for quality assurance and compliance with safety standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored after use.
- Collaborate with team members to improve installation processes and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a service technician or in a similar role is preferred.
- Proficiency in fabricating and suspending components related to truck accessories.
- Familiarity with heavy equipment operation and safety protocols.
- Basic electrical skills for installing wiring and components.
- Experience operating forklifts safely within a workshop environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively.
