Warehouse Worker

Truck Parts Plus is seeking a reliable, motivated, and detail-oriented Warehouse Worker to join our team. As a Warehouse Worker, you will play a key role in ensuring that truck parts are properly received, stored, and prepared for shipment to customers. This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a strong focus on safety.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Receiving and Inspection: Unload and receive truck parts deliveries, verify items against packing lists, and inspect for damage or discrepancies.

· Inventory Management: Organize and label truck parts in the warehouse, ensuring proper stock levels, rotating inventory, and reporting any low-stock items to your manager.

· Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare parts for shipment, ensuring that orders are accurate and ready for timely delivery.

· Shipping and Documentation: Prepare necessary paperwork for outgoing shipments and ensure shipment delivery to the correct destinations.

· Product Handling: Safely operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks to move and stack heavy truck parts.

· Safety and Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organized warehouse by following safety protocols, ensuring a clutter-free work environment, and reporting any hazards.

· Team Collaboration: Work closely with warehouse staff, drivers, and managers to ensure seamless operations and daily goals are met.

· Customer Service: Assist with any customer inquiries regarding order status, product availability, and delivery timelines.

QUALIFICATIONS:

· High school diploma or equivalent.

· Previous experience in a warehouse role preferred.

· Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks for extended periods.

· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

· Basic computer skills for inventory management and order processing.

· Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain) preferred.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

· Work is performed in a warehouse environment, with exposure to varying temperatures, depending on the season.

· Regular standing, bending, lifting, and walking.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
