Job Overview : * We are hiring CDL drivers to deliver products to Car Quest stores. Deliveries are made inside the store, and the driver will use electric pallet jacks depending on the route.
All deliveries are unattended, and drivers will be provided with keys and alarm codes. In addition to deliveries, drivers will be responsible for picking up returns from the stores and occasional inbound pickups.
- Key Responsibilities : Deliver to Car Quest stores across KS, MO, OK, IA, NE, and AR.* Unload products using an electric pallet jack and secure returns from stores.
- Perform unattended deliveries, requiring attention to security (keys, alarm codes, etc.).* Maintain accurate delivery logs and communicate effectively with dispatch.
- Miles : Straight truck routes : 2,425 miles / week, 35 stops.* Tractor-trailer routes : 2,561 miles / week, 35 stops.*Schedule : Monday to Friday : Depart at 7 PM and return home by 6 AM.
- Home Time : Home daily, every morning.*Freight Type : Unloading at Car Quest stores using electric pallet jacks.* Pickup of returns from the stores.
- Pay & Bonuses : *Mileage Pay : * $0.45 CPM.* *Stop Pay : Straight Truck : $8.00 per stop (excluding final stop).* Tractor / Trailer : $9.
- More than 5 years’ experience : $17.05 / hour.* *Guaranteed Weekly Minimum Pay : $1,558 (must work the full week to qualify).
- Bonuses : New Hire Transition Bonus : $500 (paid in full on the second paycheck).* Referral Bonus : $5,000 (paid out in increments : $1,000 on second paycheck, $2,000 at 60 days, and $2,000 at 120 days).
Job Requirements : *Experience : *12 months of recent tractor-trailer experience.* *Endorsements : *Hazmat endorsement required.
- Comfortable with night driving.* *Hiring Area : * Within a 50-mile radius of Shawnee, KS.*Other Information : No pets or passengers allowed.
- Route book with delivery instructions, alarm codes, and keys provided.* Must work the full week to receive guaranteed minimum pay (sick / vacation days do not count).
