Truck Service Technician / Mechanic

18 - $45 per hour Depending on Experience

Medium-duty Truck Experience is Required

Bilingual in Spanish is a Plus!

TruckMax is proud to have been Florida’s premier destination for commercial truck sales for over 25 years. We specialize in Isuzu, Hino, Mitsubishi, Cummins and Volvo trucks. We have locations in Homestead, Naples, Miami, & Ft Pierce, Florida .

We are a fast-paced commercial truck dealer with an array of franchises and need to hire an experienced Medium Duty Truck Technician .

8-hour shifts – Monday to Friday and weekends as needed

Responsibilities – Truck Service Technician :

Diagnose and fix malfunctions and conduct regular maintenance to ensure vehicles are in optimal condition.

Communicate with parts departments to obtain necessary parts.

Record all work performed and recommended on repair orders.

Road test vehicles to ensure repairs are effective.

Participate in manufacturer-sponsored training programs.

Keep vehicles and shop areas clean.

Manage dealership-owned tools and manuals

Requirements – Truck Service Technician :

Light - Medium Duty Truck knowledge

Diesel Truck Repair experience

ASE certifications are a plus

Good writing and verbal communication skills in English

Minimum 2 years’ experience

CDK knowledge is a plus

Bi-lingual in Spanish is helpful

Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time

Ability to obtain a Class B CDL license if sponsored by the company

Ability to lift up to 25lbs

Professional & positive attitude even when busy or under stress
