What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hydraulic Transmission Technician position at Truckworx?
We are currently seeking the following in our Graysville, AL Body Shop:
HYDRAULIC TRANSMISSION TECHNICIANS
We are looking to hire experienced technicians to work on medium and heavy-duty diesel trucks.
- Involves disassembly, inspection, and reassembly of hydraulic cylinders, pumps, valves, and motors.
- Pay based on experience with hourly and flat rate pay plans available.
- Bonus pay available based on productivity/efficiency.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
- A valid applicable state license
- The ability to use good judgement and decision-making skills
- Experience with hydraulic components.
- Identify various size hoses and fittings.
- CAT engine and computer knowledge is a plus but not required
- Cummins engine and computer knowledge is a plus but not required
- Eaton and Meritor transmission rebuild ability is a plus but not required
- Rear end rebuild ability is a plus but not required
- PACCAR MX Training is a plus but not required
- Knowledge of various wet line systems is desired but not required
- Knowledge of tractor & trailer wiring is desired but not required
- Microsoft Office knowledge is a plus but not required
